Winterize Your Home

- Insulate pipes and weatherstrip doors and windows to prevent heat loss.
- Stock up on heating fuel and have a backup plan in case of power outages.
- Consider purchasing a generator for emergency power.
Build an Emergency Kit
- Include essentials like non-perishable food, water (one gallon per person per day), first-aid kit, flashlights,batteries, blankets, warm clothes, and a battery-powered radio.
- Don’t forget pet supplies or necessary medications for everyone in the household.
- Winterize your kit by adding a blanket, warm socks and hats, and gloves.
- Have a plan ready in the case of evacuation, and ensure all members of your household are familiar with how to contact one another in an emergency.
Prepare Your Vehicle
