The attacks on September 11, 2001, took 2,974 lives at the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Tragically, lives continue to be lost as 9/11-related illnesses take those who were working or living in the area when the air filled with debris, dust, and toxins, for many days that followed.

The September 11th Victim Compensation Fund (VCF), provides compensation for victims of 9/11-related illnesses, including certain types of cancer, respiratory illness, lung disease, and families of those who have since passed.

IDG Legal has been raising awareness about the VCF among the black car and limousine drivers who have been working in the area during that time and may have been exposed to the toxins. Now, we are reaching out to anyone who may be eligible to receive compensation from the VCF.

Those who could be eligible include anyone who was in Manhattan, anywhere south of Houston Street, near the Fresh Kills Landfill in Staten Island, or along any route used for 9/11 debris removal between 9/11/01 and 7/31/02 – as a first responder, volunteer in construction, clean-up, debris removal or as an individual who lived, worked or went to school in the Exposure Zone.
