How to Prevent Distractions While Driving

Outside distractions can be inevitable to drivers. Although, there are steps you can take to prevent the avoidable ones. Things like:

  • Avoid multitasking. Adjusting your mirrors, selecting music, or sending a text, and more should be done before you put your car in drive.
  • Speak up, if a passenger in the car is keeping you from staying focused.
  • Consider using a phone navigation app that can explain directions to you through your vehicle’s sound system.
